Advance: Women in Manufacturing, The Podcast – Sarab Hans, President, Hans Dairy

Sarab Hans is the president of Hans Dairy, a family-owned business specializing in making South Asian dairy products. Since joining the family business, Sarab has been in charge of developing and manufacturing ethnic dairy products that provide a taste of home. Their current product lines are available in all the major grocery stores in Ontario.

Prior to Hans Dairy, Sarab worked in the investment banking sector in New York, Tokyo and Amsterdam. She has a bachelor’s degree in political Science from University of Western Ontario and an M.B.A. in finance and strategy from McGill University.

In this episode, Sarab shares her experiences as food-preneur in Canada, taking over a family-run business from her parents, the role of mentors, as well as being a female leader in the Canadian manufacturing sector.
